Loulan Construction was founded in 1984 by Louis Conradie, who qualified from the University of Pretoria as a Civil Engineer. In 1997 the company won the top award in the Category “Wholesaler of the Year” from the Afrikaanse Sakekamer.

Although civil works like weigh bridges, machine foundations, roads and parking areas formed an important part of the company's activities in the earlier years, commercial and industrial buildings as well as luxury houses and other residential developments have become the company's main focus in recent years.

The company's main aim is to deliver quality within cost and to complete projects within the required time. Many satisfied clients, some of whom deal repeatedly with the company, and numerous Industrial, Commercial and residential buildings are solid testament to the outstanding quality and attention to detail that is so important to the Company.
